Official Opening of our Extension
16th June 2017

The children sang beautifully to the gathering of parents, invited guests and members of our local community. Canon Bernard blessed our new building, Minister Michael Creed cut the ribbon and Cloughduv's beautiful school extension was declared open!

Thank you to John Henry Donovan who took many beautiful photographs of the day. These may be viewed by clicking on the link below.

Our First Green Flag

We were very proud to be awarded our first green flag for our efforts to reduce the amount of litter and waste we create in our school. It was lovely that retired principal Mr.Pat Crowley, was available to come and raise this flag. Mr.Crowley worked constantly to educate pupils of Cloughduv about the importance of caring for our environment.

Presentations to Alice Clancy

We are all sad that Mrs.Clancy is leaving Cloughduv N.S.
We wish her every success in her new position as Principal of
St. Joseph's Girls Primary School in Macroom.
On the day of the holidays, the children presented Mrs.Clancy with a bouquet of flowers. There was also a presentation from the staff. Our Chairman, Kevin Madden, thanked Mrs.Clancy for her hard work for the past three years and made a presentation on behalf of the BOM of the school.

6th Class 2016-17
