An open afternoon is held for new and prospective pupils and their parents in Spring. Parents are welcome to visit all classrooms and see the happy learning environment of Cloughduv N.S. This initial open afternoon is followed by a visit in May or June for the incoming infant class to familiarise themselves with their new school environment. Information will be available on the day.

PART 1- Admissions to the 2025/2026 school year:
Application and Decision Dates for admission to 2025/2026
The following are the dates applicable for admission to Junior Infants
The school will commence accepting applications for admission on October 4th 2024
The school shall cease accepting applications for admission on March 3rd 2025
The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their application is March 21st 2025
The period within which applicants must confirm acceptance of an offer of admission is by April 2nd 2025
*Failure to accept an offer within the prescribed period above may result in the offer being withdrawn
Note: the school will consider and issue decisions on late applications in accordance with the school’s admission policy.
